Description
A Transfer Unit is used to transfer products to one of three destination conveyors located front, left and right. By toggling TransferLeft or TransferRight property, you can customize when the product should be transferrd.
A Transfer Unit is made up of two conveyors (straight and transfer conveyors) that are customizable like any other conveyors.
Creation
From the Toolbox, simply drag and drop a Transfer Unit into the simulation.
When opening projects that were saved in earlier versions of Sym3 in 9.14 or later, please perform the following steps to update any Transfer Units.
- Open Project in 9.14 or later
- Start Simulation
- Stop Simulation
- Save and Reopen Project
Access
From the Project Explorer > Equipments > Transfer Unit.
Or directly by clicking on the Transfer Unit in the simulation.
Access the individual conveyors of a Transfer Unit:
From the Project Explorer > Equipments > Conveyors.
Remarks
The individual conveyors are accessible, but the only supported operating mode is “External Control”

| PESensor | the pe sensor on the equipment. |
| Source | the conveyor feeds products onto the straight conveyor. |
| Straight Destination | the conveyor connected to straight conveyor. |
| Left Destination | the connected conveyor at left. |
| Right Destination | the connected conveyor at right. |
| TransferLeft | if True, the product transferred to left destination conveyor. |
| TransferRight | if True, the product transferred to right destination conveyor. |
| Transfer Conveyor Up | To move product from transfer conveyor to straight conveyor or vice versa. when set to checked, product on straight conveyor will be transferred to transfer conveyor. |
