Reset IDs

Sym3 can reset the IDs of all equipment, including references in other equipment, using the shortcut key (Ctrl-R)…

Click inside 3D view, and press Ctrl + R. A confirmation box will appear. The reset process will start after selecting “Yes” and a progress bar will appear.

Notes

• All equipment will have a new ID and Identifier.
• References in other equipment will be updated with the new id/identifier.
• Name, Position, Orientation and other properties will remain the same.
• Only equipment shown in 3D view will have their IDs reset
• Reset IDs operation is not undoable.
