Description
A Diverge is used to divert products between two destination conveyors located either to left or right. By toggling Divert property, you can customize when the product should be diverted.
A Diverge is made up of two conveyors (straight and diverge conveyors) that are customizable like any other conveyors.
Creation
From the Toolbox, simply drag and drop a Diverge into the simulation.
Access
From the Project Explorer > Equipments > Diverge.
Or directly by clicking on the Diverge in the simulation.
Access the individual conveyors of a Diverge:
From the Project Explorer > Equipments > Conveyors.
Remarks
The individual conveyors are accessible, but the only supported operating mode is “External Control”.
Divert Decision
The Decision Distance property determines when the product will be diverted. The divert decision (Divert property being set to true) should be made before the product reaches that distance.
The minimum and default Decision Distance is 0 meters (0 feet) and the maximum distance is when the actual divergence starts (as shown below).

| Divert | If True, the Diverge feeds products onto the Diverge destination conveyor. |
| Direction | The direction of the diverge conveyor. Left or Right. |
| Decision Distance | The distance from the start at which product is diverted if the Divert flag is true. Divert flag should be set before product reaches that distance. |
